Obituary: ERICKSON, SCOTT

Scott A. Erickson 
1947 ~ 2010 

Scott A. Erickson passed away January 25, 2010 of COPD.Born on Christmas morning at 12:01 a.m., he was pictured in the newspaper with his loving mother as the first Christmas baby of 1947. Now in his passing he is also published. A full circle of his life in Salt Lake City as a loved dad, brother, son, friend and Mac Man (Verl). 

He is survived by brothers Melvin (Carolyn), Doug (Mary), two daughters, Candice and Lydia (Paul) and long time love and occasional wife, Celeste B. Fox. 

He is joined in death by his parents Leroy and Erma and his brother Paul. 

He raced, fixed and loved cars all of his life. The relationships he had in the automotive industry in Salt Lake City were more than just job related. Many, many people will remember his sense of humor, helpful nature and strength in character. His career as a Mac Tools salesman was a passion that he spread across the valley for numerous years. 

The world will miss your personalized "MAC MAN" license plates, expertise at free cell, compulsive remote control collecting, your love of a good meal, fanatic devotion to NASCAR and your drivers through the years, love of sail boating, gift for teaching and pride in workmanship. 

Funeral services will take place Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 12 Noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. In lieu of flowers, spend time with the ones you love.
