1948 ~ 2011 Wesley Wayne Galloway was taken into the Lord's arms Tuesday, November 29th, while surrounded by the love of family. Wes was born March 15th, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he lived the majority of his life. Working from the time he was 14 years old he found a career in men's retail at Mr. Mac and a dream store of his own in Idaho Falls. Through volunteer work he found his passion and second career as a victim advocate for the SLC Police Department. He helped empower the abused through his selfless work. The magnitude of his caring heart was not only demonstrated through his career, but also through his love for his daughters and grandsons. Life for "papa" had many ups and downs but his love for his family remained untainted. His memory will be forever cherished by many and his stories will live on in our hearts. May he find himself in the place he was once happiest without the troubles of this life. He is survived by his two daughters, Alisha and Savannah Galloway, his grandsons Nicholas and Isaiah, sisters Michelle Babbel (Bob), Jan Black (Layne), Joy Galloway-Jones (Keltie), brother Chad Galloway (Donna), numerous family members, and loved ones. Wes was preceded in death by his mother Betty Elaine Richardson Galloway and father Fredrick Wayne Galloway. A very special thank you to Uncle Larry and Aunt Lana Richardson and Yolanda for the extra love and care they gave to Wesley. Donations may be made in Wes' name to the local homeless shelters. A memorial service for Wes will be held at a later date.
