Jerrold David Jorgensen"Cowboy"David, loving husband, stepfather, grandfather and beloved son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his West Valley home October 5th.He was born to David and Janis Jorgensen, in Salt Lake City March 20th, 1947. From an early age David had a love of adventure and was the instigator of fun. With his father and brothers, he opened and operated U S Towing and Automotive Repair. He continued work at the Salt Lake Community College.David married the love of his life, Cathy Lin Fletcher on November 9th, 1998, and thus began the happiest years of his life. He became a stepfather, and grandfather and together he and Cathy started their own adventures along with their side kick Angel, the most spoiled and well behaved dog.David and Cathy enjoyed their time off in the heart of Defas' Ranch in the Uintas. David enjoyed everything in life, but nothing pleased him more than having Cathy and Angel by his side. He was not a man of many words, but a smile and a twinkle in his eye and you knew David was up to something. Whether it was helping someone in need, or just a playful prank, David knew how to live and how to love, and what few words he did share, were from the heart.
