October 16, 1947 – September 9, 2022

Brook Jensen Robison, our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away in the late afternoon of September 9, 2022 with his family by his side. His passing marked the end of a wonderful, well-lived life and will always be remembered for his abundant love for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Brook was born October 16, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold Leon Robison and Joy Cunningham Robison. He was the oldest, by 15 seconds, to his identical twin brother, Bradd.

Brook met the love of his life, Marilynn, in Salt Lake City. They were married and sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and for all eternity. As they continued on in their marriage they soon brought forth their five beautiful children; Tiffany, Brook, Ryan, Jared, and Adam.

He graduated from Skyline High School; continued his education at the University of Utah, graduating with a Bachelor of Science. Upon graduating, Brook began his career in management with Boise Cascade in Salt Lake City. He was later transferred to Ogden, Utah then Denver, Colorado and finished his career in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. After 38 with Boise Cascade / BMC West, he retired.

Brook was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Over the years he had many callings including serving as High Counselor and Bishop of the Glenwood Springs ward.

Family was Brook’s greatest treasure. He valued and enjoyed every opportunity spent with family. Brook looked forward to the many outings in the family boat at Lake Powell. He was very much a family and attended his children and grandchildren’s activities.

Brook is survived by his wife Marilynn Margetts Robison, five children: Tiffany (Ryan), Brook (Ronda), Ryan (Laurie), Jared (Mary), and Adam (Jessica); 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Leon Robison and Joy Cunningham Robison; his twin brother Bradd Jensen Robison.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel, 409 29th St., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. A viewing will be held from 2:00-3:30 pm prior to services.

Interment – Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park
