I knew Jimmy growing up and knew some of his family. They were expert beekeepers and had goats, and chickens, and rabbits, and probably more animals that I can't remember. Jimmy received his bachelors degree in Biology and lived next door to another friend of mine around 1992 - which was the last time I remember seeing him. I loved Jimmy for his gentleness and his love of animals.

One time at his home he opened the door to his garage and it was a complete swarm of bees. He told me to follow behind him and to not make any sudden moves. I did it and we both came out the other side, with no bee stings and completely fine.

Big Hugs to you Jimmy

Jim was a friend of mine for many years. He took me to a drive in to see my first James Bond film. We were buddies. I was disappointed to find that he is gone.  He dropped by my parents home several years after we graduated and I happened to be there and we had such a lovely visit. Miss you buddy. Jim was also an avid coin collector.  I remeber once on the way home from Sherman Elementary School that a classmate had received a valuable (1909S VDB) penny in his change.  Jim and I were aware of its value and starting bidding to buy the penny from the classmate.  Although I really wanted the penny, I only had about $5 to offer.  Jim offered more and secured the penny.  Craig Fairclough was there and filled in some of the details that I'd forgotten such as the classmate who received the penny in change.
