Lonnie L. Anderson "Gone Hunting" Lonnie L. Anderson died peacefully at home on April 7, 2007. Born October 27, 1948 in Salt Lake City to George B. and Roma Marie Anderson. 1966 Graduate of Skyline High School, attended the University of Utah, honorably discharged from the Utah Air National Guard, graduated from Utah Peace Officers Standards and Training Academy, Utah Highway Patrol Advanced Accident Investigation Academy. He worked in law enforcement, security and private investigation. Former Veteran member of Salt Lake County Sheriffs Department. During the course of his career he was also active in investments and property management. Truly enjoyed hunting and fishing with loving family and true friends. Survived by brother Terry (Carol) Anderson, sister Tami Oliphant, nieces Sunny Anderson, Tanji (David) Nielsen and best friends Melanie and Seth. Preceded in death by father, mother, and brother-in-law Ralph Oliphant. Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 So. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT. Friends may call from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. We love you and we'll miss you, Your Family
