Andrew Clyde Gregerson

May 13, 1948 ~ February 13, 2013
Our brother, Andy, was a kind and gentle man who loved his country. He died suddenly at his home as a result of hypertensive cardiovascular disease at the age of 64. Andy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah as the first child of Elsie Jane Hansen and Clyde Worthen Gregerson. He moved to Bountiful, Utah when he was five. At age nine, his mother died, leaving behind four young children. Fortunately, his dad met a widow who had also grown up in Southern Utah. They married, and now Andy had five older siblings. With a combined family of nine children, Andy's parents bought a large, split 4-level home on Crestwood Drive in Holladay, Utah. Soon after graduating from Skyline High School, Andy moved to Tucson, AZ and later to San Diego, CA, where he thoroughly enjoyed the balmy and ideal year-round weather. He drove cab for several years and also completed telephone surveys about the LDS Church. His passion, however, was politics and history. Andy spent thousands of hours at the library, researching what had happened 50 or 100 years in the past, in order to complete his historical calendar for that specific year. We will really miss our interesting conversations with him!
A Memorial Service for close family members was held on May 3rd at the LDS Green Oaks Chapel in Murray, Utah.
