Ruth was a neighbor of mine, Doug Anderson, Dean Hamilton, Dave Chipman, Steve Elgren, Lee England, Nancy Woods, Debbie Madsen, Llloyd Harmon, Gay Wessman, Sharon DeHaan, Steve Hyte, and a few others.  Ruth's funeral was the first funeral of a close friend.  We drove by the spot above Highland High School where the accident took place many times.  Ruth was a beautiful young lady that we missed greatly.

I was in drivers ed with Ruth (there were three of us in the car besides the teacher).  She was a great young lady and it was sad to see such a promising life come to such an early end.

Ruth was not only in my Drivers Ed class but one of three or four of us who were student drivers in various cars together with the teacher. I didn't know her well but was so very sad when I learned of her passing, due to an automobile accident at such a young age. Everytime I happen to drive down the road where the accident happened I think of her.
