Bonnie Irene Bardole More

Oct 23, 1948 - Nov. 7, 2015

Our precious, vivacious daughter, sister and wife, Bonnie Irene, completed her life's journey on Nov. 7, 2015.  She passed away quietly at her home in Salt Lake City on a beautiful autumn day leaving loved ones who mourn for the sunshine which has gone from their lives, but grateful in the knowledge that we will meet again.

Bonnie Irene was born in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Irene DeHaan and Frank Jay Bardole.  Her happy childhood days were spent in east Salt Lake City.  She and her sisters and brothers, Teri Gay, Francine, Michael and Richard were great pals, always close and caring for one another throughout their lives.

She loved the liberal arts, especially music, dancing and writing.  She wrote lovely poetry, studied piano at the McCune School of Music and Arts in Salt Lake City, studied and played viola in high school as well as in symphony and chamber music orchestras.  Her high school days were spent at Skyline High in Salt Lake City.  Summers were spent at their home in Charleston, where she and her siblings participated in all the delights of this beautiful valley.  She was active in the L.D.S. ward and all the activities for youth which it offered.  Later, she attended Utah State University and Utah Valley University, where she received her Associate's Degree.  She lived in California for several years where she met her present husband of 32 years, Jimmie More.  They resided in California and enjoyed traveling.  They became part of the Charleston family where she continued to be active in church and community.  She made many treasured friends who will miss her.

Surviving Bonnie are her husband, Jim; son, Sean S. Swabb, whom she cherished; by former husband Donald R. Swabb; her mother, Irene D. Hastings; step-father, Kenneth R. Hastings; sister and brothers, Francine Bardole, Michael F. Bardole, and Richard J. Bardole.  Preceding her in death was her sister, Teri Bardole Bethers.

A memorial service will be held at the Charleston L.D.S. Ward Dec. 4, at 6 p.m., for family and friends.
