Sue Von Carlow Butterfield

October 20, 1947 - January 19, 2015

SueVon Carlow Butterfield passed away peacefully on January 19, 2015 at her home in West Valley City.

She was born October 20, 1947 in Cedar City to Charles Woodrow Carlow. and Jenalorn (Lorna) Gillis.

She married Joseph Thomas Butterfield on September 24, 1976 in Salt Lake City.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various church callings.

She worked as a cosmetologist and was loved by her clients.

She enjoyed gardening and camping, but family was the most important to her. They will miss her deeply.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Butterfield; brother, Richard (Cindy) Carlow; nephew, Steven Carlow; niece, Michelle Carlow; niece, Teddie (Sione) Uhi; nephews, Kelly (Trish) Fry and Cory (Michelle) Fry; two step-children; and many grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ridgeland Ward Chapel, 4251 South 4800 West, West Valley City. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, East Millcreek, and prior to the services at the church on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
