Brett Iverson
November 11, 1948 - January 26, 1996
Our beloved Brett DeLoy Iverson died Friday, January 26, 1996, in St. George, Utah, of complications arising from septicemia.
He was born November 11, 1948, to Melvin DeLoy and Belle Forsyth Iverson. He married his sweetheart, Connie Rae Walters, March 26, 1976, and later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 28, 1989.Brett lived most of his life in the Salt Lake City area and graduated from Skyline High School. He later graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in biology and chemistry. Brett served his country in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War. He and his wife's recent move to St. George brought them together with the wonderful people of the Bloomington 4th Ward.
His great love of the outdoors was shared by his wife, Connie, his children, grandchildren, brother and many friends. He incorporated his love for the outdoors with his vocation as president and CEO of Majestic Log Homes.
He is preceded in death by his father, Mel. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his mother, Belle; his brother, Dennis B.; grandmother, Golda Iverson Olsen; two daughters, Pam Davis, and Kristin (Alan) Vincent; and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Robyn, Allie, Annie and Cody.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 1996, 12 noon at the Salt Lake Wasatch Stake Center, 8200 So. Short Hill Dr. (3450 East) in Salt Lake City. Friends may call Tuesday, January 30, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South in Salt Lake City and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the stake center.
In lieu of flowers, Brett says, "Buy Logs!"
