I recently replaced the horizontal version of my original teeth with ones that work vertically. They had a sale on implants running that way. They work just fine, except it’s impossible for me to eat corn on the cob because my nose gets in the way.

Everybody in the yearbook looks like they’re from the sixties.

I wouldn't even know where to begin. All's I know is that my life's been nothing like the Wizard of Oz (as in start at the beginning and follow the yellow brick road).

I read the lists of names posted here, and I get a bit discouraged over how little I remember of them. Sometimes there’s just a memory ping, sort of a very faint and uncertain recognition, but that’s it. Maybe it’s just my constant companion – stress; but on the other hand, maybe it’s just what needed to happen so I could move on into that rather wild wider world.

My algebra teacher, Mr. Baker (Thinking about it some, he sort of resembled the Bernie Sanders of today), after a period of time going in after school for tutoring, told me I'd never understand quadratic equations, and to the best of my rapidly waning knowledge (if I ever had any knowledge to wane), I never have. Trying to memorize algorithms, which was my approach, without a concurrent understanding of what they mean, was a fruit tree that bore me no fruit.
